Embracing creativity as an Artist, Coach and Teacher
You can find my ink and watercolor drawings and textiles for sale, blog postings on the creative process, information on creativity coaching with me, current workshops I am teaching, and examples of my work over the years.
I often will make color charts of current colors being used in my watercolor palettes. I enjoy the meditative process of mixing all the colors and painting each square as well as enjoying as each color is added to the whole.
This color chart is a mix of Daniel Smith’s Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine watercolors. Both pigments granulate and leave interesting patterns on the page.
This color chart is a mix of Winsor & Newton Burnt Sienna and Daniel Smith Cerulean Blue watercolors. There's lots of interesting settling of pigment with this mix. The W&N Burnt Sienna is much brighter than the Daniel Smith version.
This bright color chart is a mix of Daniel Smith Lemon Yellow and Cobalt Blue watercolor. The Cobalt Blue is heavier than the yellow so it settles and makes for some lovely variations. The green is not very bright though.
