With up-cycled textiles as her medium, Anya Toomre creates vibrant frameable art.  Each piece is unique, with bold colors that delight from afar and intriguing textures and designs which reward closer inspection.

Using cotton and silk fabrics from her 30-plus years of quilting and from previously worn garments and textiles from friends, family and used-clothing shops, she assembles, stitches and then mounts the creations onto sturdy cotton Bristol board making them suitable for framing. Each is signed by the artist, Anya Toomre.
