Start of a Mixed Media Rooster a la Eileen Sorg

I took a workshop over the weekend with the fabulous and very talented Eilen Sorg. The project was of this rooster. The first day was spent inking and watercoloring. The second day was spent starting in on the colored pencil magic. The watercolor and ink alone always looks surprisingly good, but once the colored pencil is added on top, it's amazing how realistic and alive the pictures become. I have lots of work left on this rooster, but it is definitely coming along!
