Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 149. So, yeah, this isn’t very pretty. Yet. My next picture is of a lovely houseboat with an enormous parasol hanging over the end (bow/stern?). There’s also a pair of doors that I don’t want to have end right in the middle gap of the spread. What you see is my sketching and re-sketching. I’ll probably end up placing it somewhere slightly differently tomorrow.
I don’t mind the time spent doing this. It’s part of the way I learn and figure out how I will draw whatever’s in front of me.
