Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 282. It turns out that I do have some opaque white with me, so was able to start in on this box of tulip shaped chocolates. I have to see what it really looks like in daylight to see what needs fixing. I also need to figure out how to mix a chocolate brown from the new palette I brought with me. I’ve been thinking about how far to continue with this series. I may end it very soon because my first day in Amsterdam is coming to an end. It seems like a good stopping point with these dailies. It’ll give me a chance to explore and play with other topics. I won’t be done with my drawings of the Netherlands though because I really want to draw the windmills from Zaanse Schans.
