Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 125. I got in a new art supply yesterday, a gelly roll pen with a finer tip, 05, so I needed to go back to my black paper to try it out. This drawing of a flower box was calling out to be colored so I spent some time playing with that too. I mixed my watercolors with the Dr. Ph. Martin’s bleed proof white gouache. The colors are so not the same but they are at least visible against the black. Kind of funny doing negative imaging with white on black and positive imaging of the colors on black.
