Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 120. Today brings something new. The sketchbook I’m using is a #stillmanandbirnnova with three colors of paper: grey, black and tan. I’ve gotten used to and like the ink and washes on grey. How to use the black paper though? I experimented with one of my white pens (Signo uniball 153) to see how it would work. It’s okay. We’re not friends yet. My plan is to eventually put my drawings of Amsterdam into a book. I may do white on black detail sketches so I can sprinkle them in and around the other drawings on grey paper.
